The Black Forest to Southern Chile: Even More New Destination Guides for Expedia

A couple of weeks ago, on this very blog, we revealed that we’d had brand new destination guides published by Expedia. What’s more, we gave you previews of three of these published pieces: Southwest Washington, Western Nicaragua and the Isle of Skye. The truth is, we’ve been writing literally hundreds of new guides for Expedia over the last few months, so on reflection, we feel we shortchanged you. Therefore, we’ve decided to add a few more.

Take a look below and you will find three more brand new Expedia destination guides written by the World Words team. The geographical spread of these is just as stark as our previous selection, taking us everywhere from the heart of Germany’s Black Forest in Europe to the south of Chile in Central America. So scroll down to take a look.

Washington to the Isle of Skye: An Entire World of Destination Guides for Expedia

As regular readers of the blog will know, we write a lot of destination guides for Expedia. And we mean A LOT. We have written about all four corners of the globe for this leading online travel company, whether it is Genoa in Italy or St Louis, Missouri in the US. In fact, just take a look through this project list for Expedia and you will find dozens of travel guides stretching back more than three-and-a-half years. And those guides are just the tip of the iceberg.

However, it’s been a while since our last set of guides for Expedia, so we are delighted to reveal that a whole new batch have just been published. These are spread far and wide, from tiny Scottish islands to vast American states. We’ve included extracts from three of these recently-published travel guides below, so scroll down to take a look.

We know that it’s a unique type of vacation – a whole other world from hosteling, Airbnb’ing and even good old fashioned last-minute-hotel booking – so we can also appreciate how helpful it could be for first-timers to have some prior warning of what to expect.

That’s where SunSearch Holidays come in. Because they’ve created a brand new, idiot-proof infographic that is a beginner’s guide to all inclusive vacations. We really like it, and we think you will too, so scroll on down to see it…

Sound familiar? It probably does if you’re a travel writer trying to write a piece about your home town. The day-to-day routine of living in a busy metropolis can turn the bright spark that made you fall for a city into a damp squib.

How can we rekindle the magic that once made our stomping ground so alluring? How can we write as if seeing the highlights of our city for the first time? Here are some tips from the experienced travel writers at World Words.
