Our Best Summer Travel Content – Part 2

A couple of weeks ago, we published a post about World Words’ best summer travel content. And while we were trawling through the archives in search of summer-themed blogs, articles and guides, we ended up finding a lot more than we bargained for – too much to squeeze into one post, in fact. So naturally, we decided to write two.

This time around, we’ve got even more summer beach break ideas, including a guide to the idyllic Greek island of Crete, an article about yoga retreats (including seafront options in Goa, Nicaragua and Bali), and a press release for a dreamy beach resort in the Maldives. If you rate fresh air, mountain hikes and biking more than beachside bliss, then you can drool over Adler Mountain Lodge in the Dolomites instead… or if it’s a city break you’re craving, we’d suggest reading our guide to Sydney. Sure, it is winter over there, but winters in Sydney aren’t exactly harsh. And anyway, it’s the perfect season for exploring: the mild temperatures are ideal for walking, the accommodation prices and crowds are lower, and you might even witness whales making their annual migration to the Coral Sea.

All of this great summer-themed travel content is waiting for you below, so scroll on down to start reading…

Our Best Summer Travel Content – Part 1

It’s already mid-June, and summer is really heating up. It’s time to share some of out best summer travel content.

For many of us, summer is synonymous with holidays – the warmer the weather, the more we yearn to get out of the city and head down to the beach – so we’ll start with a pair of destination guides we wrote for two of Southern Europe’s finest summer seaside getaways. First up is Puglia, Italy’s stunning destination du jour, and next is Spain’s sand-lined Costa Blanca, where toasty summer temperatures have been drawing in sun worshippers for decades.

Alternatively, if you dream of spending your summer the way wealthy tycoons and celebrities do (i.e. lounging on the deck of a luxury yacht), you may want to read the article we wrote on Palma’s superyacht scene. And for those who don’t have the budget, holiday time or inclination to venture to the Mediterranean, we’ve also included a rundown of country-wide UK summer events, as well as a blog post we penned on summer festivals in Devon.

There’s a great selection of our best summer-themed travel content below, so scroll on down to start reading…

Our Best Winter Travel Content – Part 2

Almost a month has passed since we last shared some of our best winter travel content, so it’s time for an update.

Last time, we only scratched the surface of winter travel content we’ve completed for our clients, so this time we are diving a little bit deeper. We’ll start with a piece we had published on Run in the Dark Edinburgh, a night-time jogging event in the Scottish capital. Meanwhile, for anybody needing last-minute ski holiday inspiration, we have pulled out features on Canada’s Mont-Tremblant and the Swiss mountain resort Zermatt. And, because we know that some of the more forward-thinking among you may already be planning your summer escape, we have also included a destination guide we produced last year on the Languedoc region in sun-drenched southern France.

Last but not least, for those wanting to improve their written travel content in 2016, we’ve also shared some of our top editing tips with Media Kitty. So what are you waiting for? Scroll on down to read a short excerpt from each.

Striking, Spirited and Eternally Sunny – Our New Guide to Sydney for Travelmob

‘Location, location, location’ – so goes the famous real estate mantra. If there were a travel-world equivalent, it would have to be ‘accommodation, accommodation, accommodation’. Where you choose to lay your head can make or break your trip. And with the spectrum of what constitutes accommodation widening year upon year, travellers are faced with more choice than ever.

At World Words, we have found ourselves writing about all kinds of places to stay, not just hotels, but also luxury villas, monasteries, farms and other unusual immersive accommodations. Recently, we have begun working with Travelmob, a vacation rental site whose goal is to help travellers live like locals, which means staying in local homes. We’ve been cooking up compelling landing page copy designed to give potential customers the lay of the land for destinations all across Asia and Australasia.

First up to get the World Words treatment is sunny Sydney. Scroll down to read more.
