From Sri Lanka to the South of France – More of Our loveholidays Travel Guides

As regular readers of our blog will know, we were asked late last year by loveholidays – the UK’s fastest-growing online travel agency – to write a selection of in-depth travel destination guides for their website. Each 1,750-word guide would need to follow a strict format and include sections such as ‘things to do’, ‘food and drink’ and ‘FAQs’.

We’ve previously profiled five of the guides we wrote for loveholidays in early 2021, from Thailand to Tunisia. Now, we’d like to share five more recent ones. Scroll down to read short extracts from our guides on Sri Lanka, Tokyo, Morocco, Goa and the South of France. You can read the full guides by clicking the links to the loveholidays site…

From Thailand to Tunisia: Destination Guide Website Copy for loveholidays

In late 2020, we were approached by loveholidays (the UK’s fastest-growing online travel agency) about adding some detailed travel guide content to various destination pages on their website. Specifically, they wanted 1,750 words of content for each page, written to a strict format that included sections like ‘things to do’, ‘food and drink’ and ‘FAQs’. Naturally, we were delighted to help. After completing an initial batch of 10 pages, we were then given a large, monthly commission to deliver pages in batches. To date, we’ve completed literally hundreds of different destination pages, varying from entire countries and major cities down to small islands and even specific resorts.

Below are short extracts from just five of the guides we’ve written over the last few months – that’s one for each of Asia, North America, Europe, The Caribbean and Africa. Simply scroll down to read them. If you want to enjoy the full guides – and get some great holiday offers – you can click the links through to the loveholidays website…

Our Travels: Lebanon

The experienced travel writers at World Words don’t just sit at their desk and write – they get out and travel the world too. At least, they do when there isn’t a global coronavirus pandemic. Whether busy researching stories or just having fun, they’ve ventured to all four corners of the globe, from The Azores to Alaska, Australia to Andorra.

(And those are just the As – there are plenty more where they came from).

In the Our Travels blog series, we share a taste of some of the places we’ve recently visited, and find out exactly what it is we loved about them. In this month’s blog, we will hear from travel writer Jennifer, who recently travelled to Lebanon and was astonished by the beauty of the country and its people. Scroll down to read about her trip…

Our Travels: Northern Oman

We’re often asked: “What’s the difference between World Words and other content writing agencies?” Our answer is simple: experience. While most agencies have rows of writers sitting behind desks and researching topics, our expert travel writers and editors are on the road, digging and discovering to get personal experience and insight to inform their content. Not only are our contributors based all over the world, from Europe to Asia, North America to Australia, but they love to travel too. We’ve itchy feet by nature, so we spend almost as much of our collective time exploring the world as we do writing about it. And that’s what makes World Words stand out from the pack.

To highlight our team’s wanderlust, we like to share their travel stories through a blog feature we call Our Travels. This month, our editor-in-chief Joe Reaney recalls a recent, unforgettable trip to Oman. Scroll down to read more…
