At World Words, we regularly create website copy for a number of large multinational travel brands, from Expedia to TravelSupermarket. But we are also proud to offer our professional web copywriting services to a number of smaller, independent companies, from hotel booking agents to travel agencies, PR companies to travel bloggers.

During the summer, we were approached by the private luxury travel agency Pantiel for a new web copy project, and we were delighted to help. They were looking for a series of sample journeys to add to their website – while their trips are painstakingly tailored to their customers, they wanted some example trips to show what’s possible.

Over the course of the summer, we wrote more than 35 sample journeys – and we thought we’d share a few of them here. From a Dubai shopping trip to an Arctic adventure, here are snippets from six of our favourite trips…

A FLYING SAFARI IN NAMIBIA Click here to continue reading

THE ULTIMATE DUBAI SHOPPING TRIP Click here to continue reading

FIJI PRIVATE ISLAND ESCAPE Click here to continue reading

EXPLORE LISBON AND AROUND Click here to continue reading

AN ARCTIC ADVENTURE Click here to continue reading

AN EASTER ISLAND CRUISE Click here to continue reading

We write website copy for a wide range of travel brands, from tour companies to tourist boards.
Though strikingly beautiful, Namibia’s landscapes can seem barren on first sight. In reality, though, even the driest desert plains here often throng with wildlife. It’s just a question of knowing where to look – and how to look. Because Namibia is so vast, the best way of seeing it is from the air. Indeed, some of its most breathtakingly gorgeous areas are almost inaccessible by any other means of transport…

Dubai’s reputation as one of the world’s best shopping destinations is absolutely justified. It’s impossible to overstate the sheer variety of things to spend your money on. The refreshing chill of the many air-conditioned shopping malls offers a welcome respite from the sun, and once you’re inside one of these gigantic complexes, you could easily spend all day just browsing the sumptuous window displays of the luxury stores inside…

With its bleach-white sands, luminescent aqua waters and swaying palms, Fiji is pinch-yourself beautiful – and its private island resorts that provide the ultimate away-from-it-all escape. Private islands in Fiji offer barefoot luxury of the highest order for every type of traveler. For families, there are spacious villas and nannies on hand to ensure parents get some time out, while couples can opt for an adult-only sanctuary…

For a destination that melds centuries-old charm with ultra-hip artistic credentials, it’s hard to beat the Portuguese capital. Red-roofed buildings accentuated by traditional patterned tiles line winding cobbled streets, custard tarts and other old-fashioned delicacies are easy to come by, and imposing São Jorge castle overlooks it all. Yet youth culture rules in the riverside mega-clubs and in the sleek cafés that double as co-working spaces…

One of the world’s last remaining true frontiers, the Arctic is as enigmatic as they come. With steely seas littered with bobbing bergs and immense ice caps stretching into the horizon, the Arctic can seem eerily barren upon first inspection. Look a little closer, however, and you’ll find a host of species, from polar bears to narwhals, whales to walruses, eking out an existence amid these awe-inspiring landscapes…

A pinprick of land in the vast Pacific Ocean, Easter Island (or Rapa Nui, as it’s known locally) is about as far-flung as islands come. Its isolated setting has made it an enduring enigma for travelers keen to discover more about its mysterious moai statues and intriguing lost civilizations. It may be a territory of Chile, but with the mainland over 2,000 miles away, Easter Island feels likes a whole other world…
