Back in March 2016, World Words was approached by the leading public relations agency Bacall Associates<\/a>. The agency, which bills itself as a ’boutique PR, marketing and sales support agency’ and particularly specialises in the travel sector, required a series of press releases to be written about luxury hotel resorts across Europe and Asia.<\/p>\n

Naturally, we were all too happy to help. We wrote five press releases in total, on resorts ranging from AlmaLusa in Lisbon<\/a> to Dhara Dhevi in Chiang Mai<\/a>, but one of the first releases to be sent out to press was about Finolhu<\/a>. A newly-opened property in the Maldives, Finolhu is a beautiful five-star resort that is all about old-school relaxation.<\/p>\n

An island outpost of Salt Grill, Luke\u2019s signature restaurant in Singapore, is all about modern Australian food; the Fish & Crab Shack is a relaxed, quirky nod to traditional seaside food stalls; Baa Dining offers the beautiful simplicity of bold flavours done well, served under the stars and accompanied by a world class wine library; whilst Kanusan showcases the clean, innovative flavour combinations of Asian cuisine.<\/p>\n

Centred around a happening hub of pastel-coloured beach huts, Finolhu\u2019s The Cove is a chilled out retro revival area where music and movement is medicinal and glamorous midcentury style reigns. Stripping the spa concept back to the simple truths of wellness, movement and sound therapy, The Cove instead offers a calm, unintimidating haven in which to drop anchor and relax. Eight chandelier-lit treatment \u2018Divans\u2019 – each celebrating an iconic beauty of the 60s and 70s – are complimented by a fitness centre, yoga pavilion and outdoor \u2018jungle gym\u2019.
