Our Travels: Darwin and NT, Australia

What does the World Words team do when we get some precious time off from writing about travel? Well, we go travelling. No matter the season, it’s safe to say at least one of us will be off on an adventure somewhere exciting. Through the Our Travels blog series, we share our travel stories with the wider world (recently, we have covered Andorra, Laos and Western Crete, and you’ll find many more destinations in the Our Travels section of our blog).

This month, it’s the turn of our writer and editor Eilidh to share a story from her recent trip ‘down under’. Scroll on down to read all about her wildlife-packed experiences in the Northern Territory (or ‘NT’, as the cool kids call it)…

Striking, Spirited and Eternally Sunny – Our New Guide to Sydney for Travelmob

‘Location, location, location’ – so goes the famous real estate mantra. If there were a travel-world equivalent, it would have to be ‘accommodation, accommodation, accommodation’. Where you choose to lay your head can make or break your trip. And with the spectrum of what constitutes accommodation widening year upon year, travellers are faced with more choice than ever.

At World Words, we have found ourselves writing about all kinds of places to stay, not just hotels, but also luxury villas, monasteries, farms and other unusual immersive accommodations. Recently, we have begun working with Travelmob, a vacation rental site whose goal is to help travellers live like locals, which means staying in local homes. We’ve been cooking up compelling landing page copy designed to give potential customers the lay of the land for destinations all across Asia and Australasia.

First up to get the World Words treatment is sunny Sydney. Scroll down to read more.
