From Sri Lanka to the South of France – More of Our loveholidays Travel Guides

As regular readers of our blog will know, we were asked late last year by loveholidays – the UK’s fastest-growing online travel agency – to write a selection of in-depth travel destination guides for their website. Each 1,750-word guide would need to follow a strict format and include sections such as ‘things to do’, ‘food and drink’ and ‘FAQs’.

We’ve previously profiled five of the guides we wrote for loveholidays in early 2021, from Thailand to Tunisia. Now, we’d like to share five more recent ones. Scroll down to read short extracts from our guides on Sri Lanka, Tokyo, Morocco, Goa and the South of France. You can read the full guides by clicking the links to the loveholidays site…

From Thailand to Tunisia: Destination Guide Website Copy for loveholidays

In late 2020, we were approached by loveholidays (the UK’s fastest-growing online travel agency) about adding some detailed travel guide content to various destination pages on their website. Specifically, they wanted 1,750 words of content for each page, written to a strict format that included sections like ‘things to do’, ‘food and drink’ and ‘FAQs’. Naturally, we were delighted to help. After completing an initial batch of 10 pages, we were then given a large, monthly commission to deliver pages in batches. To date, we’ve completed literally hundreds of different destination pages, varying from entire countries and major cities down to small islands and even specific resorts.

Below are short extracts from just five of the guides we’ve written over the last few months – that’s one for each of Asia, North America, Europe, The Caribbean and Africa. Simply scroll down to read them. If you want to enjoy the full guides – and get some great holiday offers – you can click the links through to the loveholidays website…

From Supreme Swiss Sights to Secret Spa Stops: Blogs for The Council of Europe

Regular readers of this blog will know that, back in summer 2019, we completed a series of country guides for an online trip planner called Routes4U. The project, a joint venture between the Council of Europe and the European Union, aimed to bring together disparate attractions from all across the continent in a series of themed routes and itineraries. To find out more about this, you can read our previous blogs on writing for Routes4U (here and here).

Fast forward to this year, and to help promote the service further, we were asked to contribute some blogs to the website. These would serve to highlight some key attractions spread across the different regions and itineraries. Ultimately, we focused on two blogs – one about Switzerland’s cultural routes and the other about spa stops on the European Thermal Towns route – and we’ve included snippets from both below. Scroll down to have a read…

From Lithuania to The Ukraine: Country Guides for The Council of Europe (pt. 2)

Following on from our post earlier this month (if you haven’t read it, you’ll need to click here right now), we’ve put together another selection of the country guides we wrote for Routes4U. A little refresher… Routes4U is an online trip planner, focusing on destinations all across the continent, which are divided into four macro-regions. It’s a joint venture between the Council of Europe and the European Union, and we were tasked with writing a total of 11 of their country guides. Each guide would include a country overview, practical travel info, individual city coverage with things to see and do, and concise summaries of the various regional travel routes they wanted to promote.

All caught up? Excellent! Then scroll on down to read snippets from five more of the country guides we wrote…
