From the Old Course, St. Andrews to the Atacama Desert: Our Latest Website Copy

At World Words, we’re regularly asked to write website copy for our clients. In fact, aside from blogs, web copy is probably the most common type of travel content we write. And over the years, we’ve got pretty darn good at it.

The last few months, in particular, have seen us completing many interesting website content briefs. We’ve been approached by several independent tour companies looking to overhaul their website copy, and have been able to make their visions a reality. Each project has been entirely different – different services, different markets and different style requirements – but they have all had one thing in common; wanting to refresh their website content in order to improve their search rankings and increase their sales. And they’ve all been delighted with the results.

JSB JOURNEYS

The brief
Owner Jean Sanz Bernay was looking for an overhaul of the website content of her travel agency JSB Journeys, which arranges personalised travel experiences in South America. She needed us to rewrite and edit her existing copy on several pages, including the homepage, the How We Work page, the About page and the Destinations page (four destinations). She also needed us to create a selection of new ‘Inspirations’ (itineraries) from scratch.

Our difference
Planning a trip can be fun. But it can be overwhelming too. You might find yourself falling down an internet rabbit hole, wading through an inordinate number of travel websites, all of which leave you none the wiser. Let us pull you back to the land of the living.

As local travel experts living in South America, we do all our research first hand. Which means our recommendations are personal. We’ve been to the hotels, eaten at the restaurants and have handpicked the guides that will join you on your journey. We want to cast a light on the true value of travel and celebrate the authenticity that makes these people and places what they are: unique.

SCOTTISH GOLF EXPERIENCE

The brief
Owner Kevin Fogarty approached us to create new, keyword-rich copy for the website for his golf tour company. Specifically, the homepage, two golf packages pages – Scotland Golf Packages and St. Andrews Golf Packages – and the Build Your Own Golf Tour page. Each page needed to feature a few paragraphs of copy and a whole host of relevant keywords, without compromising on the flow and readability of the text.

LEZ GO TRAVEL

The brief
Owner Cheryl Jones approached us to write new web copy for a brand new website. This was a rebrand of her US travel agency, which specialises in trips to Central America and the Caribbean, with the new copy needing to “cater to the upscale, affluent traveller”. The new website copy would need to include a homepage, a Meet Cheryl page, a Services page, a Plan My Trip page and a Contact Us page.

Why Lez Go Travel?
We are matchmakers of a different sort. Rather than finding dream partners, we scout out dream vacations. For each and every client, we take an individual, one-on-one approach. We work our travel wizarding magic to identify a destination that will make you go gaga, sniff out accommodation that corresponds with your preferred travel style and arrange tailored-to-you experiences that you will find yourself reminiscing about long after the curtain has closed on your trip. A romantic hideaway for honeymooners in the South Pacific. An under-the-radar rum bar in Bermuda. A cooking class in Rome. A wilderness guide in Alaska. Whatever you need, we know how to find it.

Whether you want to go halfway around the world or just halfway around the state; travel solo, with a loved one, your family or a large group; switch off and slow down, or dive headlong into adventure – or some kind of combination of all of the above – we can curate the perfect luxury trip for you.
